Position Summary:

The primary function of the the Home Valuation Coordinator(HVC) I is managing the appraisal process of ordering appraisals, receiving appraisals and reviewing of appraisal reports for general clerical errors. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Ordering and management of all Appraisals, Final Inspections and Field Reviews for Conventional, USDA, FHA and VA loan programs as related to investor guidelines via ValuTrac (Eagle’s Appraisal Management platform). The daily monitoring of the ValuTrac Dashboard including all New Messages, Flagged Orders, New Appraisal orders, New Final Inspection orders, Appraisal orders declined, Appraisal orders on hold, Assigned orders, Accepted orders, Accepted orders with conditions, Orders due, Orders Past Due, QC Reviews, QC Review- Final, QC Revisions requested, Past Due and completed. Daily monitoring of requested appraisal revisions, corrections, changes, etc. Maintains the updating of all reporting (Appraisal Order Detail Report) via Destiny as well as ValuTrac. Daily communication with Appraisers and processing staff. Periodically meets with Operations Manager and processing Team Members and review reporting to ensure a productive daily workflow. Daily uploading of appraisal xml directly to Fannie and Freddie Uniform Collateral Data Portal to obtain Successful SSR certificates. Daily logging of the FHA appraisal into FHA Connection as well as following up with the HVA to ensure all UCDP SSR certs have been received and uploaded and that all FHA Loggings have been completed and uploaded into Blitzdocs as well as Encompass. Works closely with the Post Closing and Auditing departments in requesting, following up and receiving of post-closing conditions requested by the Post Closing Department, Investor, Investor Liaison or Pre or Post Closing Auditor.

Education and Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent. 3-5 years of Mortgage or Appraisal experience, preferably in Processing or Underwriting in the real estate/ mortgage lending field. Strong computer background with 3-5 years of experience in mortgage software or appraisal software. Strong knowledge of Investor requirements for real estate appraisals. Attention to details. General knowledge of office procedures Current knowledge of mortgage production.

Regular interaction with Underwriters, Division Managers, Branch Managers, Regional Managers and other mortgage production staff.

Work well under pressure while promoting a team player attitude. Possess excellent organization and analytical skills as well as excellent written and oral communication skills. Understand and follow posted work place rules and follow written policy and procedures. Willingness to accept constructive criticism. Physical Requirements: Requires the ability to operate a personal computer, fax machine, copier, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move, and carry materials and supplies weighing 20 pounds or less. Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard.
